Farm-to-Table

We absolutely love farm-to-table restaurants. The food is fresher, as we eliminate the middle-man and the need to ship things far distances. As a result, the food is more nutritious and keeps most of its vitamins and minerals. The longer a food sits around and is uneaten, the more it loses its nutrients.

On our latest trip to Las Vegas, we went to a farm-to-table restaurant called Harvest. The food was absolutely wonderful. In general, farm-to-table restaurants change their menus frequently based on what ingredients are available to them. We don’t have many of these kinds of restaurants in the NJ/NY area, but hopefully, over time, more will pop up.
