Why is breakfast so important?

We’re having an açaí yogurt berry bowl to start off our day on the right foot.

Remember those commercials when you were growing up that always said “breakfast is the most important meal of the day”. Well that’s because it’s 100% TRUE (and definitely helped sell a few cereal boxes😂).

Having a nice nutritious breakfast WILL give you the energy you need to get the most out of your day. It also keeps your metabolism working and allows you to actually burn MORE energy than if you were to skip the meal entirely.

Skipping breakfast can definitely be counterintuitive - because of the notion “well if I have less then I’ll lose more”. This is true in essence except for one caveat - you’re not just losing fat... you’re also losing MUSCLE & good stuff that you need to be healthy and happy. So, please make sure to eat breakfast every day - even a small meal is better than no meal.
