Why should I incorporate more peppers into my diet?
Peppers are super versatile and can be eaten raw, grilled, or roasted! You can add them to your salad, grill them as the perfect side dish at a BBQ, or add them to your stir-fry or pasta dishes. Not only are they well used in many meals, but they are packed with amazing nutrients.

- Peppers help with your overall eye health ➖ they contain MANY different types of Carotenoids, which is what colors many of the veggies we eat. Carotenoids are linked to positive eye health and are known for preventing eye diseases because they absorb blue light!
- Peppers have positive antioxidant affects that reduce the risk of cancer ➖ Carotenoids are also known for their preventative properties when it comes to serious diseases like cancer. The sulfur in peppers also helps reduce the risk of cancer, especially when the pepper is ripe.
- Peppers boost your immune system ➖ Peppers contain a good amount of Vitamin C. The more ripe the pepper is, the more Vitamin C it contains.
- Peppers are a mood-booster ➖ Peppers contain Vitamin B6, which is know for boosting your mood!
