What is Seitan?

For all of those new to some of these vegan products, seitan is actually made from wheat gluten and is an excellent high-protein low-carb substitute for meat. Additionally, it has a good amount of iron and selenium without some of the harmful toxins you get from eating meat.

Also, seitan is SO easy to cook with and can go with a lot of different types of dishes depending on how you season it.

Diversification when it comes to food is so important. You want to make sure to fuel your body with all kinds of different foods to ensure you are satisfying your nutritional palette.
